Azalia still hadn't done the phased-in parenting arrangement so no settlement could be reached. That's all I was waiting for and she failed.

Tomorrow is court again for divorce. I don't know what Azalia is going to try this time to hurt me. Maybe one day, she'll learn to stop.

People really are a mixed bag of nuts...

Okay, so most people know my situation right now. I'm homeless, unemployed, going through a nasty divorce, and Azalia stole all of the assets and refuses to give me access to anything or to have access to my children. On top of this, I can't buy a bag of peanuts? Wow, some people are really worthless scumbags.

Anyways, I walked to the corner Shell station where I've been more than once or twice and proceeded to cruise the aisles in search of sustenance. I haven't eaten since yesterday morning, hence I was being frugal with my remaining five dollars. I finally came to the conclusion that three bags of peanuts provided the most nutritional and caloric content I could afford as well as being filling.

The prices on a pair of honey roasted peanuts was labled at $1.59 and the bag of in-shell peanuts of a smaller weight was listed at $.99. Satisfied with my find and looking forward to enjoying my banquet, I headed to the counter. The cashier, a surly and dim-witted looking fellow, rang up my items and then told me $5.35 as my total. I asked him why it was higher than it should be and quoted the prices of each item. He responded by stating that the price of the honey-roasted peanuts was higher than I stated. I denied this and walked back to the rack said peanuts were on and pulled the price tag. It clearly stated the correct price I had quoted along with a matching UPC to the items I had selected. Stupefied, the clerk turned to his fellow of an equally surly and disreputable appearance and asked what should be done.

The new cretin turned one of the bags over and over in his hands like a chimpanzee trying to solve a Rubik's cube and came to the conclusion that there was nothing to be done about it and that the price was correct, regardless of the marked price. When I asked for the manager all three clods in attendance smugly reported that the manager had already left for the day. By now, a crowd had gathered over the commotion.

The primates in question continued to argue over the $.35 difference, which if I had I may have paid just to escape the situation but I doubt it, and the situation escalated into baboons honking and barking obscenities at me as the onlooking crowd muttered in confusion.

I decided enough was enough and removed myself from the situation. I have contacted Shell's corporate office and registered a complaint. In the meantime, I recommend not shopping at Shell. While I don't blame the entire company, I'm not going to endorse them either.
Wow... people really are a mixed bag of nuts. Don't shop at Shell btw. I was just refused service for pointing out a price error at checkout
